The ShingleAI inbox brings all your connected email accounts into a single, organized view. This guide covers how to navigate, read, and manage your messages effectively.
Inbox Modes
ShingleAI organizes your messages into different modes for easy access:
Mode Description Inbox Incoming messages that need your attention Sent Outgoing messages you’ve sent Snoozed Messages you’ve snoozed to review later Archived Messages you’ve archived for reference
Switch between modes using the sidebar navigation to view different message categories.
Reading Messages
Message List
The message list displays:
Sender - Who sent the message
Subject - The email subject line
Preview - First few lines of the message content
Time - When the message was received
Attachments - Icon indicating if attachments are present
Click any message to open it in the reading pane.
Thread View
ShingleAI groups related messages into conversation threads:
All replies and forwards in a conversation appear together
The most recent message displays at the bottom
Thread participants are shown at the top
Expand or collapse individual messages within the thread
Attachments
Messages with attachments show:
Attachment icons in the message list
Full attachment details in the message view
Options to download or preview supported file types
Message Actions
Manage messages using the action buttons in the toolbar or right-click context menu:
Archive
Move a message out of your inbox while keeping it accessible:
Select the message
Click the Archive button or press E
The message moves to the Archived view
Archived messages don’t appear in your inbox but can be searched and viewed in the Archived mode.
Snooze
Temporarily hide a message and have it return at a specific time:
Select the message
Click the Snooze button
Choose when you want to be reminded
Snoozed messages appear in the Snoozed view and return to your inbox at the scheduled time.
Delete
Remove a message permanently:
Select the message
Click the Delete button or press Delete
Confirm the deletion
Deleted messages cannot be recovered. Use Archive if you might need the message later.
Mark as Read/Unread
Toggle the read status of messages:
Messages are automatically marked as read when opened
Click the unread indicator to mark as read without opening
Use the menu to mark as unread to revisit later
Search
Find messages quickly using the search function:
Navigate to Inbox > Search or use the search bar
Enter your search terms (sender, subject, or content)
Results show matching messages across all connected accounts

Search by sender: from:name@example.com
Search by subject: subject:invoice
Search by date range: Use the date filters
Combine terms: from:john subject:project

Connected Account Indicator
When you have multiple email accounts connected:
Each message shows which account received it
The sender address indicates which inbox the message belongs to
Replies are sent from the same account that received the original message
